Rare Large 19th C. French Convex Glass Jewelry Casket Jewelry Vitrine

One of the most glorious pieces that we've ever acquired!

This amazing 19th century French convex glass jewelry vitrine/jewelry box was acquired from a long-time collector.

This fancy shelved jewelry box has gorgeous gilt metal workmanship on the top with fancy feet. It has its original mauve-colored silk interior with two shelves.

The glass is superb. The sides have wavy glass and the front is convex/rounded. We've never seen one like it!

It measures 8-1/4" tall by 4-1/4" wide and approx. 4" deep. It's in excellent condition with the glass in flawless condition.
