Large 1920s Sheffield Poultry Contest Trophy 14.5"

Fabulous tall silver plate 1920s poultry contest trophy by Sheffield.

Solid wooden base. Measures 14-1/2" tall to the top of the handles and 8-1/2" wide from handle to handle.

Trophy is engraved, "PRESENTED BY GEO SPENCER, 1ST PRIZE 1926 POULTRY CONTEST, EXPERIMENTAL STATION FOR VANCOUVER ISLAND, WON BY J. C. BUTTERFIELD".

Trophy is in excellent condition with a light bend on one of the handles. Very heavy and solid!

Hallmarked on the side with a shield and "S" and "B" for Slack & Barlow, EPNS, Sheffield, England".

Wonderful trophy contest trophy, and perfect for flowers or display!
