Large 1928 Palace Hotel, San Francisco Porcelain Water Pitcher
Really gorgeous large 1928 porcelain water pitcher from the landmark historic Palace Hotel in downtown San Francisco. The Palace Hotel is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
This stately pitcher features the hotel's logo and name on the front in blue, red and gilt. The rest of the pitcher has gilt as well.
It measures 7-1/2" tall and 8-1/2" wide from handle to spout. The handle is nice and thick. Porcelain is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The crest and gilting is in superb condition with no wear.
Pitcher is manufactured by Bauscher China and stamped, " Bauscher China Arthur Schiller and Son, Chicago, 1928 Especially made for the Palace Hotel San Francisco".
A very special and heavy piece from a fine San Francisco hotel!
