Large 19th C. English Hand Chased Monogrammed M Food Dome

Stunning, large 19th century silver plated food dome with beautiful hand chased detail and a monogrammed M.

The ornate engraving goes all the way around the dome. It's quite striking in person. The center of the dome bears a fancy monogrammed M. It has a fancy handle as well.

It measures 14" long by 10-1/2" wide and stands approx. 10" tall to the top of the handle.

It has polished up beautifully with a mirror-like patina. There is a dent on the backside that doesn't attract from its beauty. It bears faded English manufacturers marks on the underside.

A special dome to use for serving, or simply as a decorative piece for your dining area.
