Large Antique Plaza Hotel, NYC Crested Platter 14"

Extraordinary large early c. 1900 silver plated serving platter from the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

This collectible and beautiful rectangular platter has the desirable raised double P crest on either side. It measures 14-1/2" long by 10" wide. It weighs over 2.5 pounds.

The platter has a gorgeous patina with very minor surface scratches and light wear. Very heavy and solid.

The bottom of the platter is stamped, "THE PLAZA", and is manufactured by Gorham. 

Plaza Hotel pieces have become quite scarce days, so this is an amazing piece for your collection!
