1970s Large Guy Charon, France Colorful Floral Lithograph, Limited Edition
Beautiful c. 1970s signed and numbered floral lithograph by Guy Charon. Born in 1927 in Écueillé, France, Charon moved to Paris in 1951 and began exhibiting at the Salon de la Nationale des Beaux-Arts and the Salon des Independants. His works are in the collections of the Musée de Saint-Cyrien, the Musée de Petit-Palais in Paris, and the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, among others.
The lithograph depicts a vase of flowers resting on a table French coastline in the background. Garden motifs often dominate Charon’s work.
The vibrant lithograph is numbered 157/250, and framed an matted in a gold metal and plexiglass frame. The Metropolitan Gallery of Fine Art, Inc. sticker is on the back. The frame measures 33" tall by 26-1/2" wide. Excellent condition. Some discoloration on mat.
