Rare 1912 Butcher's Day Horse Race Trophy Won by Little Dick
Rare and wonderful 1912 silver plated repousse horse race trophy!
This trophy has all of the bells and whistles. It has stunning floral repousse going around it. It's inscribed "Won by LITTLE DICK - FREE FOR ALL PACE - BUTCHER'S DAY - EMERYVILLE RACE TRACK - JUNE 12 1912". It is quite possible that Little Dick was the famous horse (sor. 1911), making this a very valuable trophy.
It measures 9" tall to the top of the handles and 9" wide from handle to handle. We've left the trophy unpolished in the event that you like the aged patina as we do. It would look lovely polished as well.
Manufactured by Wallace Bros. and in superb condition with no noticeable dents or dings.
A fabulous, collectible trophy!
