Victorian Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco Handled Teapot
Magnificent, rare c. 1900 silver plate handled tea or coffee server from the famous Fairmont Hotel atop San Francisco's Nob Hill.
The sparkling pot has the early Fairmont raised crest with the double "F", not seen on pieces produced after the Victorian era.
It measures 7" tall, by 5" wide, and 8-1/4" long with the wooden handle. Really lovely rim and finial. Teapot has very little wear commensurate with age. The interior base has some light wear.
Manufactured by Reed & Barton and stamped, "FAIRMONT HOTEL 10 oz".
An amazing, collectible piece of hotel silver!
