19th C. Hotel Sherman, Chicago Crested Sugar Bowl

Quite a rare piece of historic hotel silver plate from the famous Hotel Sherman in Chicago.

This 19th century handles sugar bowl bears the hotel's crest on the side. It measures approx. 6" tall and the diameter of the piece is approx. 4".

It has polished up beautifully and is in excellent condition. The interior is clean for serving anything from sugar to jam or confections.

It is stamped, "HOTEL SHERMAN CO." on the underside and manufactured by Reed & Barton.
