Vintage Beverly Wilshire Hotel Porcelain & Silverplate Teapot
This rare and beautiful piece was recently acquired from a long-time collector of hotel, railroad and steamship silver pieces.

The Beverly Wilshire Beverly Hills (A Four Seasons Hotel), commonly known as the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, is a historic luxury hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, it was completed in 1928.
The teapot is a beautiful cobalt blue. The reads, "Kirkeby Hotels". Arnold Kirkeby was the founder of the Kirkeby Hotel chain, beginning in Chicago with the Drake Hotel, and ending his hotel interests when he sold the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, California, among other.
The inside handle of the teapot reads, "Beverly Wilshire." It measures 5" tall and 6-1/2" from handle to spout. Perfect for serving an individual cup of tea.
Condition is superb. The silver plate is manufactured by International Silver Company and dates to 1954.
The porcelain and silver hotel pieces are incredibly hard to acquire.
