Vintage Exeter Inn Lenox & Silverplate Teapot
Beautiful, hard-to-find silver plate and Lenox teapot from the Exeter Inn in Exeter, New Hampshire. Located on Front Street on the campus of Phillips Exeter Academy, the Georgian style complex was built in 1932 and mirrors the school's architectural motif. The inn is still in existence today.
The teapot is a beautiful milky ivory color. Fancy Art Deco finial.
It measures 5" tall and 6-3/4" from handle to spout. Perfect for serving an individual cup of tea.
Condition is superb. Porcelain is manufactured by Lenox. The silver plate is manufactured by International Silver Company and dates to 1932.
The porcelain and silver hotel pieces are incredibly hard to acquire. This is an amazing find for any hotel silver collector!
