Vintage Hotel Taft, New York City Teapot
Nice, large vintage 1930s silver plated teapot from the Hotel Taft in New York City, now called The Michelangelo. The historic Taft Hotel opened in 1926 as the Manger Hotel and the name was changed to the Taft in 1931.
This wonderful piece has the hotel's name across the front is a large font. It measures 5-1/2" tall and 7-3/4" from handle to spout.
Nice bright patina with light use. The interior is clean and serves two cups of tea or coffee.
