Scarce copy of this book by Jerome Zerbe, published by Doubleday & Company, 1965. First edition.
"A do-it-yourself kit for breaking into society - by a sophisticated, amused, and socially acceptable society editor." Zerbe was the Society Editor of "Town & Country" and a syndicated columnist for the Hearst Syndicate. Previously, as a publicist, he helped establish El Morocco as one of the most famous nightclubs in the world. His biography describes him as "a witty, sophisticated man who was decorated during World War II for his work with a Navy combat photo crew. He is today a celebrated host and an even more celebrated guest at chic parties, weddings, hotel openings, and liner sailings."
Beautiful, clean copy of this rare book. Appears to be unread. Dust jacket is in excellent condition with some small tears, now protected in a Mylar cover.
