Antique St. Francis Hotel, San Francisco Water Pitcher
Exquisite and rare large antique water picture from the legendary St. Francis Hotel in downtown San Francisco.
Still in existence as the Westin St. Francis, the St. Francis is a historic luxury hotel located on Powell and Geary Streets on Union Square in San Francisco, California. The two twelve-story south wings of the hotel were built in 1904, and the double-width north wing was completed in 1913, initially as apartments for permanent guests.
Antique hotel water pitchers are some of the most sought after and finest remnants of old hotel silver.
This pitcher dates to the early 1900s. It has the lovely St. Francis wreath logo on the side.
It measures 10" tall and 11-1/2" from handle to spout. Very heavy piece that weighs over 3 pounds.
Overall lovely condition. Bright and shiny patina with a couple of light dings and scratches. Interior has some wear at the base. If you wish to have the interior plated, we can have our silversmith do that for you at an additional cost of $75.
This is an extraordinary piece of hotel silver. Manufactured by Reed & Barton and stamped, "Hotel St. Francis."
Great piece for any hotel silver collection!
