1890s Antique Velvet Playing Card Holder Box

A rare and beautiful Victorian red velvet card holder box.

The top of the box features fabric playing cards. Box opens to compartments that would have held cards. The inside lid has is beautifully monogrammed with metallic thread.

It's in excellent condition with the original key. It measures 10-1/4" long by 8-3/8" wide and stands 2-3/4" tall.
