1940s Maryse Ducaire-Rogue French Floral Bouquet Oil Painting

Beautiful 1940s French floral boutique oil painting by listed French artist, Maryse Ducaire-Rogue (1911-1992).

Ducaire-Rogue exhibited her work at numerous exhibitions in Paris, including the Salon des Artistes Independant where she became a member, the Salon des Artistes Français where she won a gold medal, the Salon d'Automne and the Salon Comparaisons. She also had solo exhibitions in Paris, Aurillac, Lyons, Grenoble and New York, and was made a Chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur, one of France's highest honors for artists.

This large painting is in panel and has lovely colors and details. Really pretty in person.

Painting is signed in the lower hand corner.

The wooden frame measures 26" by 22". Excellent condition.
