1940s Mark Hopkins Hotel, San Francisco Oyster Dish

Wonderful 1940s silver plated oyster dish from the famed Mark Hopkins Hotel atop San Francisco's Nob Hill. This piece is part of a collection that was acquired from a former chef at the Mark Hopkins.

The solid dish measures 10-1/2" in diameter and stands approx 2-1/4" tall.

It bears the "MH" logo on the edge of the dish. It's polished up beautifully and has a lovely patina with little signs of age.

Manufactured by Reed & Barton and date symbol is 1948. Stamped, "Mark Hopkins".
