19th c. Art Nouveau Silver Overlay Oak Ewer Pitcher

A beautiful and rare late 19th century English silver plate and oak pitcher or wine ewer. 

The pitcher has fanciful Art Nouveau floral motif throughout. It measures approx. 11" tall and 8-1/2" from handle to spout. It has a 2-3/4" opening at the top. Quite a heavy, solid piece!

The piece has a lovely patina with light signs of age. The interior has light wear.

This is stunning piece to is not only a spectacular serving piece, but would function as a beautiful vase!
