19th C. Cliff House, San Francisco Crumber

I acquired this piece 25 years ago when the old Cliff House, San Francisco was auctioning off much of its silver plate and artwork.

It's a 19th century silver plate table crumber from the original Cliff House. It bears the name across the front.

It has great historic value, and with some pitting, it's still a rich and wonderful piece. It was also professionally polished by a silversmith as it was deeply tarnished.

It measures 8-7/8" long by 7-1/2" wide. Manufactured by Rogers Brothers.

This is a marvelous piece for the San Francisco collector!
