19th c. French Napoleon III Turned Wood Hat Stand

Acquired in Paris, a rare 19th century turned wood hat stand which retains its original painted faux grain finish.

It's c. 1880, from the Napoleon III era, when most wood items were ebonized. This is a very dark grain.

It measures 12-3/4" tall and the base is 4-1/2" in diameter. Slight tilt.

Note: top hat not included.
