19th C. French Souvenir Watch Holder Casket Box

A charming and collection Victorian glass watch holder souvenir from Le Pouliguen, a commune in France.

The glass is beveled on each side and features a boat with the French flag and "Le Pouliguen".

It opens to a tufted silk-lined interior with a hook to hold a pocket watch. 

Box is in excellent condition. There is some fraying to the silk interior.

It measures 4-1/8" tall, not including the handle, 2-3/8" wide and 2-1/4" deep.

A perfect keepsake from a bygone era.
