Antique Courtland Hotel Tureen and Sugar Bowl

Lovely antique silver plate tureen and sugar bowl from the Courtland Hotel. There was a famous Courtland Hotel in both Kansas and Illinois. This is most likely from Kansas.

Both pieces have the hotel's name--on the side of the tureen and the inside of the sugar bowl.

They have polished up beautifully and have sparkling patinas.

The tureen measures 7-1/4" from handle to handle and 4-3/4" tall. The sugar measures 5-3/4" long and stands 2-1/2" tall.
