Edwardian Rock Crystal Intaglio Reverse Painted Dress Clip of Dogs

Wonderful Edwardian-era rock crystal intaglio dress clip with terriers.

A reverse crystal intaglio is a rock crystal cabochon with an intaglio carved into the flat back.  The intaglios were also painted realistically with oils, so, that when viewed through the top, the image appears three-dimensional.

This lovely clip features two terriers that are beautifully reverse painted and set in sterling silver.

It measures 1-1/4" by 1" and is in excellent condition.
