Cecil Beaton (1904-1980) was an English fashion, portrait and war photographer, diarist, painter, interior designer and an Oscar-winning stage and costume designer for films and the theatre. Warner Brothers asked Cecil Beaton to take complete charge of the clothes and settings for the film of "My Fair Lady" In these entertaining pages, he has recorded with a witty pen, the strains, satisfactions, delights and despairs of making a major movie.

Published by Henry Holt And Company, 1964. First edition. 128 pages. Hardcover with pictorial dust jacket. Book and jacket are in pristine condition now protected in a Mylar cover.
