Huge c. 1910 Antique English Oak & Silver Plate Keepsake Box w/ Plaque

One of our favorite finds! Photos don't do it justice.

From the UK, a huge c. 1910 oak box with an affixed large silver plate plaque. The plaque in inscribed, "Presented by Lieutenant Colonel Beech M.D. Boarders Conduct".

The stately box has a fancy large hinge. It measures a generous 15" long by 9-3/4" deep and stands 8-1/2" tall.

Excellent condition with some silver loss on the plaque.

A fabulous, unique storage box!
