Massive Victorian 20" Sheffield Silver Plate Food Cover

Massive Victorian English Sheffield silver plate meat dome or food cover. The huge dome is sure to make a statement on your table top!

It has a gorgeous scalloped design that goes all the way around and an ornate handle to compliment it. Photos don't do it justice.

It has polished up beautifully and measures approx. 20" long by 14-1/2" wide and stands 12" tall to the top of the handle. It is very heavy and solid.

There are areas along the edge front and back where the underlying copper shows through. Difficult to capture in photos. In my opinion, the does not detract whatsoever from this amazingly huge and beautiful dome.

Manufacturers marks have worn off over the centuries.
