Large Victorian English Sterling Silver Engraved Bird Locket

This beautiful Victorian sterling silver locket features a finely engraved design of a bird perched gracefully, symbolizing peace and devotion.

Larger in size than many lockets of the era, it makes a striking statement. 

It measures 1-3/4" not including the bale by 1-3/8" wide. It opens to two glass compartments. One has mourning hair and the other, a photo. It weighs 22.9 grams and is in excellent condition.

A wonderful keepsake from the 19th century.
