Exquisite huge Art Nouveau Josef Strnact Barbotine Majolica vase dating to the late 19th century. It was produced in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia. 

This stunning vase has high relief peaches and vines against a shiny glaze. It measures 14-1/2" tall and the base is an impressive 7-1/4" in diameter. In excellent condition. Strnact hallmarks on base.

There is a drainage hole in the base, marking it wonderfully versatile for a variety of uses. It can be used as a traditional decorative vase with a removable liner or glass insert for fresh or dried flowers, as a planter for your favorite plant, or simply displayed as a sculptural accent.
