It brings to life the luxurious dinner parties of the famed couple through its surrealist food driven artwork and its dishes designed by leading French chefs of Paris finest restaurants.

First edition, 1973, Felice, New York. Complete with a beautiful gold foil illustrated dust jacket and illustrated endpapers. 322 pages. Book measures 12" by 8-3/4".

It is in superb condition with very little wear to the jacket which is protected in a Mylar cover. Nice, clean and tight copy of this first edition book.

"Les diners de Gala is uniquely devoted to the pleasures of taste. If you are a disciple of one of those calorie counters who turn the joys of eating into a form of punishment, close this book at once it is too lively, too aggressive, and far too impertinent for you."

-Salvador Dali
