Pair of Antique Napoleon III French Velvet Painter Palette Easel Picture Frames

Astounding pair of French 19th century red velvet painter's easel display picture frames. These are simply amazing in person.

Both frames have gilt decoration and early photos under glass. They measure 9-1/2" tall by 4-1/2" wide.

They are in excellent condition. One of the easels on the back does not lock in place. It can be placed in the position you'd like or you may try glueing it. We did not attempt to repair such an early piece.

These are truly special and make a wonderful addition to any collection! The French did the finest work!
