Authors Franco Borsi & Ezio Godoli were/are esteemed Italian art historians based in Florence. With hundreds of black-&-white & color captioned reproductions of sumptuous Art Nouveau exemplars throughout. All text in French.

First published in 1976 under the title "Paris 1900," this revised & expanded first edition thus was published in 1989.

Hardcover in unclipped dust jacket, presumed first printing thus though not explicated at copyright page or elsewhere, a beautiful door-stopper coffee-table production.

Dust jacket has a bit of wear on the bottom and is now protected in a Mylar cover.
