Rare Victorian Hotel Lankershim, Los Angeles Water Pitcher

Highly collectible Victorian silver plate water pitcher from the Hotel Lankershim, Los Angeles. The Lankershim was a landmark hotel located at 7th Street and Broadway in the Broadway Theater District in downtown Los Angeles' historic core.

This unique pitcher bears the hotel's name in large script across the side, under the spout.

It has polished up beautifully and has a superb patina inside and out.

It measures 8-1/2" tall and 8-1/2" from handle to spout. Quite a heavy piece. 

Manufactured by Reed & Barton and stamped, "Hotel Lankershim".

A wonderful pitcher dating to the early 1900s when the hotel opened.
