Fancy Victorian Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco Crested Serving Dish

Gorgeous Victorian silver plate crested serving dish from the famous Fairmont Hotel atop San Francisco's Nob Hill.

This ornate small dish bears the early Fairmont's double F crest on the side. The rims are quite fanciful.

The dish has polished up beautifully and measures 7-1/4" long by 5-1/2" wide and stands approx. 1-1/2" tall. Very little signs of wear.

This would have been used in the hotel's banquet room to serve individual sized side dishes or vegetables. You can use it for numerous things.

Manufactured by Reed & Barton and stamped, "Fairmont Hotel". Most likely dates to 1907.
