Vintage Burlington Route Cobalt Blue Porcelain Private Dining Car Teapot

A wonderful vintage Burlington Route porcelain dining car teapot.

“Everywhere West” was an appropriate slogan for a railroad that once operated over 12,000 route-miles across America’s heartland. The Chicago, Burlington & Quincy grew from modest beginnings to become a major Western system. 

In cobalt blue with gilt lettering, the teapot measures 5" tall and 5-3/4" from handle to spout.

Superb condition with no chips or cracks. The base is stamped, "Made Expressly for the Private Car Ltd. by the Hall China Co."
