Vintage Pullman Railway Silver Plated Bowl

Acquired from a lavish collector's estate, a vintage silver plate serving bowl from the Pullman Railway.

George Pullman (The Pullman Company) was an American industrialist who revolutionized railroad travel by inventing and manufacturing luxurious sleeping cars. This piece would have been used on the dining car.

The bowl has polished up beautifully and measures 6-1/4" in diameter and 2-1/2" tall. Excellent condition with some minor scratches to the interior. Perfect for serving a variety of small items.

Manufactured by International Silver Company and stamped, "The Pullman Company". Date mark has worn from age, but dates to the mid 1900s.

A highly collectible railway piece.
