Vintage Pullman Railway Sauce Boat

Acquired from a lavish collector's estate, a vintage silver plate sauce boat from the Pullman Railway.

George Pullman (The Pullman Company) was an American industrialist who revolutionized railroad travel by inventing and manufacturing luxurious sleeping cars. This piece would have been used on the dining car.

The piece has polished up beautifully and measures 5" long and stands 2-1/2" tall. Excellent condition with a gleaming bright patina and very little wear.

Manufactured by R. Wallace and stamped, "The Pullman Company." Dated 1939.
